About The Book:

Why was the USS Iowa such a powerful fighting force? What would it be like to live and work on "The Grey Ghost"? How did the ship's weapons evolve throughout its history? What was FDR's secret mission, and what near-miss almost changed the course of history? What other disaster took place on board, and who was the ship's mascot? Join Little Miss HISTORY as she takes you aboard The Battleship USS IOWA for some answers.

What I Thought:

History is never boring with the Little Miss History books!

Another great book in the Little Miss History collection!

Little Miss History Travels to The Battleship Iowa is full of interesting and fun facts about the Iowa; battles attended, the lifespan of the battleship, two maps of Europe 1939 when World War 11 was spreading across Europe, dimensions of the ship, armament on the ship, details about the ship’s missions, and so much more. The book also includes a glossary of battleship terms, which is a real bonus for readers. The pictures, along with the illustrations, are always a great combo that readers will enjoy.

I received a free PDF copy of this book in return for an honest review.
